Business Briefs The Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science at WPI will hold information sessions Jan. 30, from 7-9 p.m., and Feb. 10, from 1-3 p.m., for sophomores only. A session for lower grades will be held Feb. 13, from 7-8:30 p.m. The academy is located at 85 Prescott St. in Worcester and can be visited online at www. massacademy.org.
'Making a Difference' for St. Jude's Hospital The Patricia Brosnihan Dance Center of Hopkinton held a "Making a Difference for St. Jude" event that raised $3,825 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The volunteer coordinators for the event were faculty members Cathy Hazeltine- Fallon, Amy Simpson, Jennifer Freeland and director Patricia Ledoux. The 3rd annual fundraising event was held Dec. 8 at the Polish National Home in South Grafton, and included three wonderful holiday dance performances by the participating students, a bake sale and the sale of adorable St. Jude Teddy Bears, which were donated by Jef and Suzanne Barnes. The funds raised will help St. Jude in its ongoing fight against childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases. LaptopConnect now available
