Hudson accepting preschool lottery applicants

Hudson - The Hudson School District is currently accepting applications for the 2008-2009 Preschool Lottery. Applications are available at the Hudson Town Hall Clerk's Office, the Hudson Public Library and the Hudson Public School Administration Building at 155 Apsley St. Information is also available at the Hudson Public School website at www. hudson.k12.ma.us.

Completed applications must be mailed or dropped off at the Hudson Public School Administration Building no later than 4 p.m. Friday Jan. 25.

All children registered by that date will be entered into a lottery to fill available slots in the two-day or three-day program. The lottery will take place Thursday Jan. 31 at 3:30 p.m. at the administration building.

In order to be eligible to register, children must be 3 years old by Aug. 31, 2008, for the two-day program and 4 years old by Aug. 31, 2008, for the three-day program.
