'Spin for Hope' registration ongoing

Region - On Sunday March 2, the American Cancer Society will host Spin for Hope, a three-hour indoor cycling event that will take place simultaneously at more than 20 participating health clubs in Massachusetts.

Locally, the event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at both Shrewsbury Health and Racquet Club, 3 Tennis Drive in Shrewsbury, and Westborough Tennis and Swim Club, 35 Chauncy St. in Westborough.

The registration fee to participate is $25. Teams of families, friends and co-workers will spend the morning spinning to raise money for the American Cancer Society's programs of cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services.
