Jesse A. Grillo, 90

Hudson - Jesse A. Grillo, 90, a lifelong resident

of Hudson,

died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 at Marlborough Hospital. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Santos) Grillo, who died in 2002.

He leaves his daughter, Magdalen Brewer; his son, Daniel Grill; his grandchildren, Jessica Ross and Nicole Tompkins; his great-grandchildren, Taylor and Dylan Ross and Faith and Leah Tompkins; and nieces and nephews.

Born in Hudson, the son of Manuel and Mary (Custodio) Grillo, he was a U.S Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Mr. Grillo was employed as a foreman for the former Poplins Furniture Co. in Hudson for 53 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Michael's Parish in Hudson, the St. Michael's Holy Ghost Society, the American Legion Post 100 in Hudson and the Hudson V.F.W.

A funeral mass was celebrated Jan. 12 from St. Michael's Church, with burial at St. Michael's Cemetery. The Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson directed arrangements.
