Denise L. Goulet, 70

Hudson - Denise L. (Gareau) Goulet, 70, formerly of Marlborough, died at home Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 after being stricken ill. She was the wife of the late Ronald Goulet Sr., who died in 2003.

She leaves her children, Ronald Goulet Jr., Glenn Goulet, Craig Goulet, Carey Goulet and Darlene Goulet; her sister, Marsha Vento; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Born in Marlborough, the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Gicquel) Goulet, she was a 1955 graduate of Marlborough High School and a resident of Hudson for the past 13 years.

Mrs. Goulet was an executive secretary at the Raytheon Corp. in Waltham for over 10 years. After her retirement, she worked as a security officer at Digital Equipment Corp. in Hudson for several years.

She enjoyed watching college football, especially Notre Dame and USC, and was an avid Red Sox fan.

Funeral services were held Jan. 14 from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home in Marlborough, with burial at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson. Memorial donations may be made to Our Danny Cancer Fund, UMass Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 2795, Worcester, MA 01613.
