Zoning board seeks associate member

Hudson - The Hudson Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is seeking a candidate to be appointed as an associate member to fill a vacancy.

The ZBA is appointed by the Board of Selectmen and has the following duties: to hear and decide appeals of the building commissioner's decisions, to hear and decide petitions for variances in accordance with Section 10 of Chapter 40A, to hear and decide applications for those uses of which approval of the ZBA is required in accordance with the provisions of the zoning bylaw and for special permits when not otherwise specified, and to hear and decide applications for expansions of non-conforming uses in accordance with the provisions of Sections 5.1.5 and 5.1.6 of the zoning bylaw.

Interested candidates should fill out a Board and Committee Interest Card, which can be found on the town's website (www.townofhudson.org) and is available in the Board of Selectmen's office on the third floor of Town Hall.

Interest cards should be returned no later than Monday March 3.
