Rae Levine, 95
Westborough - Rae (Shuman) Levine, 95, formerly of Portland, Maine, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 in Beaumont Nursing Home in Westborough. She was the wife of the late Samuel Levine, who died in 1987.

She leaves her sons, Allan Levine and his wife, Penny, and Gerald Levine and his wife, Esta; her sister, Lee Levine; and her sister-in-law, Marie Shuman. She also leaves her grandchildren and their spouses, Julie, wife of Mark Resnick; Rabbi Deborah Lefton, wife of David Lefton; Kimberly, wife of Adam Siegel; Andrew Levine; Bruce Levine; and Jonathan Levine, and her great-grandchildren, Lauren and Olivia Resnick and Jeremy, Emily and Stacey Lefton. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Jennifer Lee Levine.

Born in Boston, the daughter of Benjamin and Fannie (Melnick) Levine, she had lived in Portland, Maine for more than 60 years before moving to Westborough in 1996.

Funeral services were held Jan. 27 from Congregation B'nai Shalom of Westborough, with burial at Temple Beth El Cemetery in Chelmsford. Perlman Funeral Home of Worcester directed arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Jennifer Lee Levine Youth Fund of Congregation B'nai Shalom, 117 East Main St., Westborough, MA 01581.
