Maureen A. Berry, 71
Citrus Hill, Hernando, Fla. - Maureen A. (Kerrigan) Berry, 71, formerly of Marlborough for many years, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008 at Citrus Hill Hospital in Inverness, Fla. She was the wife of the late William Berry, who died in 2004.

She leaves her children and their spouses, William Berry Jr., James and Gillian Berry, and Janet and David Halloran; her sisters, Joan Morales, Martha Jones and Janet Kerrigan; and her grandchildren, Brendan Halloran, James Halloran, Kaitlyn Berry and Keagan Berry.

Born in Newton, the daughter of James and Mary (McDonald) Kerrigan, she moved to Florida in 2003 after living in Marlborough for over 33 years. She was a 1955 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Newton and also graduated from Marymount College in Virginia.

Mrs. Berry was the attendance officer for many years at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough until her retirement.

A former longtime member of the Marlborough Country Club, she was a member of the Citrus Hills Country Club, Hernando Elks and Lecanto Moose Club, all of Florida. She was also a past member of the Woman's Golf Association of Massachusetts and a former volunteer golf instructor at the Marlborough Boy's Club in Marlborough.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, from St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough, with burial at a later date. The John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough is directing arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Framingham Heart Study, 72 Mt.
