Bank hosts February exhibit of student, teacher artwork

Region - For most of February, area high school students and art educators are displaying their creative work at Citizens Bank, 17 Pope St., Hudson, as part of an Arts Alliancesponsored show "Empowering the Artist: An Exhibit of Student and Teacher Work."

During regular bank hours, the public is invited to enjoy viewing both two- and three-dimensional artwork in the wheelchair-accessible display. There is no admission charge and ample free parking.

A reception for the exhibiting students and teachers will be held Thursday Feb. 7 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the bank. The public is invited to attend the reception or drop by the exhibit between then and Thursday Feb. 28 weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon.

Displayed artwork will be by students and instructors from Algonquin Regional High School, Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, Hudson Catholic High School, Hudson Public Schools and Marlborough High School.
