Avidia Bank announces recent officer promotions

Region - Mark R. O'Connell, President & CEO of Avidia Bank, recently announced several officer promotions at the Bank. Thomas Allain, Richard Schrader and Kenneth Simms were all named Senior Vice Presidents. Allain and Schrader are Commercial Banking Officers and Simms is the Director of Marketing.

Allain holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Fitchburg State College and Schrader has a B.S. from North Adams State College and an MBA from UMass- Amherst. Simms holds a B.S. from UMass-Lowell and is a graduate of the Bank Marketing School, University of Colorado and the School of Bank Management at the University of Wisconsin.

In addition, Mirriam Kelly was promoted to Vice President and oversees the entire Loan Operations Department. Cheryl Cain, Patricia DeSantis and Steve McAndrew were all named Assistant Vice Presidents. Cain manages Merchant Services, DeSantis oversees Commercial Loan Operations and McAndrew manages Commercial Banking Administration.

Jimmie Ames was named an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the 100 E. Main St. Branch in Westborough. Also named Bank Officers were Jennifer Cardoso, Northborough Branch Manager; Suzanne Laperle, Branch Manager at 33 W. Main in Westborough; Kimberly Perkins, Branch Manager at the Bank office in The Willows in Westborough; Alvara Gjylapi, Shrewsbury Branch Manager; and Linda Tumeinski, Loan Operations Officer.
