Joseph Valianti announces run for state representative

Marlborough - Joseph V. Valianti announced his candidacy for state representative as an Independent as the 4th Middlesex District, which includes Marlborough, part of Southborough, and Berlin, Feb. 25 at a press conference.

Valianti, whose family has been in Marlborough for five generations, is seeking the seat vacated by State Rep. Stephen P. LeDuc, DMarlborough.

Valianti received a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from the University of New Hampshire and then pursued professional interests in both corporate and small business.

Valianti is an active volunteer in several organizations, including the Marlborough Recycling Committee, Historical Society and the Friends of Marlborough Public library and is a founder and former chair of the Marlborough Litter League.
