Raymond P. Gingras, 66

Athol - Raymond P. Gingras, 66, of Central Street, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008 at home.

He leaves his siblings, Beverly Ohman, Sharon Gingras- Shong, Sandra Clancy, Sheila Fitzgerald, Maureen Gingras, Patricia Gingras, Ronald Gingras, Gary Gingras and T. David Gingras.

He was born June 14, 1941 in Worcester, the son of Roland and Catherine (Hannigan) Gingras. He was a longtime resident of Westborough and a resident of Athol for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Navy for two years.

Mr. Gingras was devoted to his family, friends and God. He was always willing and able to help people when needed. He spent his spare time pursuing his passion for computers and electronics, and he also loved spending time with Erin, the daughter of his dear friends, Mike and Laura

A celebration of life gathering will be announced in the coming month. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one's choice. Fiske Funeral Home of Athol is directing arrangements.
