Corradino J. Galli, 80 Shrewsbury - Corradino J. "Curry" Galli, 80, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, surrounded by his loving family, in Saint Vincent Hospital of Worcester. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Theresa (Ricciardi) Galli; his son, Joseph Galli and his wife, Dawn; his daughters, Anne-Marie D'Errico and her husband, Peter, Paula Gaudette and her husband, James, and Mary Galli; his sisters: Amelia Menard and Santina Vuona; his grandchildren, Joseph, Robert, Lisanne, Thomas, Alexandra and Corey; and nieces and nephews. Born in Worcester, the son of Alfredo and Maria (Ricci) Galli, he had lived in Shrewsbury for the past 47 years. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and attended Holy Cross College in Worcester. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Galli was employed as Plant Manager for Mekontrol Inc. in Northborough for over 25 years before retiring in 1986. He was always a very quiet man who was extremely devoted to his wife and children. He had a very special place in his heart for all of his grandchildren; he enjoyed watching them grow and was very proud of all their accomplishments. He was a dedicated parishioner of Saint Mary's parish and a true New England sports fan. A funeral mass was held Feb. 29 from St. Mary's Church in Shrewsbury, with burial at St. John's Cemetery of Worcester. The Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home directed arrangements.
