Town takes a shot at new Senior Center
Northborough - When voters head to Town Meeting in April, they will be faced with two articles pertaining to the new Senior Center proposed for the town's land on Colburn Street and Bearfoot Road, the former location of the Northborough Fish and Game Club. One will ask for approval of a Proposition 2-1/2 debt exclusion for the amount to construct the center, while the other will ask for $1.5 million to clean up arsenic and lead contamination on the site that resulted from its many years as a shooting range.

While the proposal to build on town-owned land is enticing, some question the accessibility and overall feasibility of the site.
