Abby Kelley Foster visits Westborough
Westborough - Lynne McKenney Lydick, an actress with the Worcester Women's History Project, portrays Abby Kelley Foster during her one-woman play "Yours For Humanity - Abby," at the Westborough Public Library March 2. The play, which gets its title from the way Foster signed her letters, takes the audience back to 1854 to a week in the life of Foster, a Worcester resident, abolitionist and women's rights activist, as she lectures in Indiana against slavery.

In honor of Black History Month and Women's History Month, the play is one of many events offered throughout the year for the Westborough Public Library's Centennial Celebration.
