Home buyers seminar March 25

ERA Key Realty will be holding a free home buyers seminar Tuesday, March 25, from 7-8:30 p.m., at Tatnuck Booksellers, 18 Lyman St., Westborough. Speakers, including real estate agents, an attorney, mortgage specialist, home inspector and appraiser, will cover such subjects as short sales, bank owned properties, new financing options, the home buying process, inspections and more. Penta named Vice Chair of WCAC

Deborah Penta, CEO of PENTA Communications, Inc. was recently appointed to the position of vice chairperson of the Worcester Community Action Council, Inc. (WCAC) Board of Directors. Penta has been on the WCAC board for the past year and has been working to help facilitate the boards' goals of implementing social service programs and initiatives in the Central Massachusetts area. Founded in 1988, PENTA Communications, Inc. is an integrated marketing firm offering a myriad of services that include creative services, media planning and buying, public relations, print design, website design and development, advertising campaigns and event planning.

MSB branch opening March 17

Marl b orough Saving s Bank's newest branch location in Westborough is scheduled for opening on March 17. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be an opportunity for all nonprofit businesses based in the town of Westborough to win the ribbon, which will be made of $500 in cash. All non-profit Westborough based organizations that attend the ceremony will have a chance to win the $500 ribbon simply by adding their name and the name of their representative to the drawing box, which will be available at the ceremony. At 10 a.m. that day, a representative from Marlborough Savings Bank will draw the winner. In addition to the $500 donation, Marlborough Savings Bank will be celebrating the opening of their newest location with additional specials, giveaways and prize opportunities.
