Scholarship Foundation looking for trivia teams Marlborough - The Citizen's Scholarship Foundation (CSF) of Marlborough, a nonprofit group that raises money to help send students to college, will hold its second annual Team Trivia Challenge Friday March 28 at the Moose Lodge. The group is currently seeking teams to participate. A professional trivia disc jockey will be moderating the event, which will include background music associated with the questions. Sometimes song lyrics are used to give hints to attendees. The disc jockey will also provide some clues to the correct answers. "The DJ really makes it a fun time for everyone," CSF Treasurer Brian Murphy said. "For the many local businesses who have off ered us so much support in the past, this is a fun night to send a team from the business to compete against other local businesses." Trivia teams can be composed of three to five people. Prizes will be awarded to the first- and second-place teams. "We need local businesses to send or sponsor teams for the Team Trivia night," Murphy said. "Overall, CSF relies on the support of area businesses to help our volunteers to raise money. Thank goodness they have been so supportive." The Trivia Challenge is for adults over the age of 21. Trivia team entry forms and checks must be mailed to CSF c/o Brian Murphy, P.O. Box 296, Marlborough MA 01752 by Friday March 21. Entries must include an entry fee of $200, by check made out to CSF of Marlborough. For more information, contact Brian Murphy at 508-485-0543 or Alyson Wood at 508-485-8517. |
