Juliette H. Corfield, 66

Marlborough - Juliette H. (DiGregorio) Corfield, 66, died at home Sunday, March 2, 2008 after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 41 years, Norman Corfield, and her siblings, Doreen Adams and her husband, J. David, and Michael DiGregorio and his wife, Joan. She also leaves her in-laws, David and Eleanor Corfield; her aunts, Mary Burns and Helen Burns; and cousins, nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Brian Corfield, who died in 1999.

Born in Boston, the daughter of Michael and Ines (Givonetti) DiGregorio, she was a 1958 graduate of Framingham High School and had lived in Marlborough for the past 20 years.

Mrs. Corfield was a bookkeeper for the past six years at Loomis Fargo in Boylston. Previously, she was a bookkeeper at Shaw's Supermarket in Hudson for seven years and at Purity Supreme Market in Stow for over 20 years.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and its choir for many years, as well as a former member of the Marlborough Community Chorus. She collected dolls from all over the world, was an avid reader and loved to crochet. In addition, she enjoyed New England sports, especially the Red Sox and the Patriots, and loved to travel to Twin Rivers in Lincoln, R.I.

Funeral services were held March 6 from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home in Marlborough, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
