Marlborough - On March 6, Marlborough student J.P. Morias has his blood pressure taken by Heart Screen America representative Gindy Pfaff. Heart Screen America was at Marlborough High School to provide students with an affordable heart screening, including electrocardiogram, health history review, blood pressure reading and BMI calculation, providing results for people to discuss with their physician for any necessary guidance. According to American Heart Association estimates, approximately 325,000 Americans are victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest every year with as many as two-thirds unaware that they were at risk.
