St. John's won the game, 62-56, and in the process captured its 15th Central Mass. title in the 47-year history of the tournament. With the victory, the fifth-seeded Pioneers (20-6) advanced to a state semifinal against Longmeadow, played March 11 at UMass's Mullins Center.
