Lions Club to hold 'Duathlon'

Marlborough - The Marlboro Lions Club will once again hold its annual Rockbuster Off road Duathlon at Ashland State Park, 150 Union St., Ashland. The event will be held Sunday April 27, starting at 9 a.m.

The race will consist of a 1.8-mile run, a 5.5-mile bike ride and another 1.8-mile run.

The event is a fund-raiser, with proceeds from the race going to the many Lions Club charities, including Joslin Diabetes Camp, eye research and various scholarships.

Anyone who would like to enjoy dinner with the Lions Club can call John Usinas at 508-485-4149. Meetings are at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. The deadline for dinner reservations is the Monday before the meeting.
