Martha F. Carlino, 51

Northborough - Martha F. (Takayanagi) Carlino, 51, of Davis Street, died at home Tuesday, March 11, 2008 following a seven-year battle with colon cancer.

She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Robert Carlino; her children, Kaitlin Takayanagi, Wesley Kaplan, Casimir Kaplan and Jake Carlino; her siblings, Brian Foley, David Foley, Denise Lamonica and Kathleen Foley; her grandson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Newton, she was the daughter of Dennis and Victoria (Borys) Foley. She attended Newton public schools and graduated from Newton North High School (Murray Road) in 1974. She was a talented artist.

A memorial service was held March 15 from the Church of Christ in Northborough. Hays Funeral Home of Northborough directed arrangements.
