Marlborough - Joseph H. "Uncle Joe" Armstrong, 77,

died Satu rday, March 8, 2008 at MetroWest

Medical

Center in Framingham after an illness.

He leaves his sister, Mary Armstrong, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Born in Marlborough, the son of Dr. Irving and Katherine (King) Armstrong, he was a lifelong resident of the city. He graduated from Marlborough High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Armstrong was the owner and manager of the former Sheehan Clothing Co. for men, located on Main Street in Marlborough, for many years. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He vacationed on the Cape with his family and always drove a Buick.

Funeral services were held March 10 from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough, with burial at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Unit at St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham, MA 01701.
