'Love Letters' at Senior Center
Shrewsbury - Dot Thompson of Shrewsbury compliments Richard Clark and Lynn McKenney Lydick after their performance of "Love Letters" at the Shrewsbury Senior Center Feb. 29. The play, written by A.R. Gurney, takes the audience through the many years of life, friendship and love shared by "Andy and Melissa" during World War II. Their moving and humorous story is told through the reading of letters written to each other. The performance was made possible through a grant from the Shrewsbury Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
