Council plans 'interfaith dialog'

Marlborough - On Sunday April 27 at 2 p.m., the Interfaith Council of Marlborough invites anyone in the Marlborough/Hudson area to an educational event that introduces Islam, the religion of Muslims.

The format of Islam 101 will be an interview; Saadat Syed will be interviewed by Rev. Karen Nell-Smith. Syed and Nell-Smith are part of an interfaith group in Leominster. The goal of the event is to broaden attendees' understanding of Islam.

Future events focused on other religions are planned, as well, to broaden interfaith dialog.

The event will be held at First Church, 37 High St., Marlborough. For more information, call 508-485-6297.
