State Police make guest appearance at AVRTHS

Marlborough - Students in Donna Groccia's Business Law classes at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School (AVRTHS) had an opportunity to get up close and personal with two State Police officers recently, as part of Groccia's guest speaker series. Troopers Angie Guerrera, from the Framingham barracks, and Jeffrey Reger, out of the Millbury barracks, were on hand to discuss traffic laws, court appearances and careers in law enforcement.

Students asked the officers about suspended license regulations, courses required in college and boot camp.

The troopers reminded students that, if stopped for a traffic violation, to always be courteous and candid with the officer, to put both hands on the steering wheel as the officer approaches,
