Marlborough entered play this week 3-2, having earned wins over St. John's and Worcester's Burncoat High, as well as the Red Raiders. The Panthers came into this season off a 15-7 campaign last year, having earned the No. 7 seed in the Central Mass. Division 1 Volleyball Tournament. Fitchburg entered play this week with a 2-2 record.
