Children's book collection, Shred Days at Central One
Central One Federal Credit Union is participating in a statewide eff ort organized by the Massachusetts Credit Union League's Social Responsibility Committee to put books in the hands of children in need. During the month of April, Central One Federal Credit Union will be collecting new and used children's books at the following branch locations: 714 Main St., Shrewsbury; 148 Main St., Northborough; and 63 Southbridge St., Auburn. Also, Central One will be hosting Community Shred Days Saturday, April 26, from 9 to 11:30 a.m., at its Shrewsbury location and Saturday, May 3rd, 9 to 11:30 a.m., at the Northborough and Auburn branches. There is no limit to the amount of material to be shredded and the branches will have shred bags available, though they're not required, for those interested.
