Girl Scouts focus on famous women
Northborough - Members of Northborough Girl Scout Troop 533 (l to r) Linnea Henningson, 11, Sami Marchetta, 12, and Julie MacArthur, 12, are dressed as chefs in honor of Rose Totino, who invented the frozen pizza, for a World Thinking Day event held at Melican Middle School in March. World Thinking Day is a tradition established in 1926 as a day that Girl Scouts around the world think about and give thanks for their "sister" scouts. For the past two years, Northborough Girl Scouts have focused on famous women for their Thinking Day event. Approximately 20 troops and 200 girls participated.
