Edith M. Kreft, 83

Shrewsbury - Edith M. Kreft, 83, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, surrounded by her loving family, at the Cape Cod Hospital after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of 48 years of the late Leon Kreft.

She was the loving mother of Roger Kreft and his wife, Mary, and Linda Tyburski, and is also survived by her grandchildren, Matt Bove, Tara Corriveau, Peter Kreft and Heidi Brank, and her great-grandchildren, Josalynn, Olivia, Justin, Kylie and Alexis.

The daughter of Frank and May Honer, she graduated from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and worked at the Memorial Hospital for 30 years. She was also the instructor for the LPN Nursing Program at Trade High School in Worcester.

Mrs. Kreft was loved by her family, many friends and church members, and was a life-long member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Shrewsbury. She was also president of the Margaret, Mary Group at the Trinity Episcopal Church. She spent her last year on Cape Cod, where she lived with her son, Roger, and his wife, Mary.
