She leaves her husband of 50 years, John McIntyre, and her children, J. Catherine Davis and her husband, Kevin; Cynthia Breitkreitz and her husband, David; Cara McIntyre; Robin McIntyre; Holly McIntyre; and Damien McIntyre and his wife, Linda. She also leaves her sister, Jane Ready; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. She was the mother of the late John McIntyre Jr., who died in 2002.

Born in Boston, the daughter of Robert Margaret (Manning) Ready, she was a 1949 graduate of Our Lady of the Presentation of Brighton and had lived in Marlborough for most of her life.

Mrs. McIntyre was employed for several years at the Telephone Learning Center in Marlborough.

She was a real homemaker who loved and enjoyed taking care of her husband and children. A past president and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 132 of Marlborough, she was an avid bingo player, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and loved a great mystery novel.

Funeral services were held April 19 from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
