Carl W. Shepardson, 94

Marlborough - Carl W. Shepardson, 94, died Monday, April 14, 2008 at Sudbury Pines Nursing Home after an illness. He was the husband of 67 years of the late Ruth (Scott) Shepardson, who died in 2003,

He leaves his daughter, Judith Richards and her husband, Donald; his son, Carl Shepardson Jr. and his wife, JoAnn; six grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren.

Born in Stow, the son of Orin and Farrie (Wood) Shepardson, he was a resident of Marlborough for the past nine years.

Mr. Shepardson was employed as a tool engineer for the Foxboro Co. of Foxborough for over 40 years, retiring in 1975.

He was a member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Marlborough and the Masonic Lodge (St. Alban's) in Foxborough. After retirement, he and his wife, Ruth, lived in Spring Hill, Fla. until 1999 when they moved back to Marlborough.

A celebration of life was held April 22 from the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough. The John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough directed arrangements.
