Rachel Blair, 89

Hudson - Rachel (Rapanault) Blair, 89, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Marlborough Hospital. She was the wife of 63 years of the late Leonard Blair, who died in 2006.

She leaves her daughter, Judith Nally, wife of the late William Nally Jr. who died in 1991; her siblings, Lionel Rapanault, Muriel Garceau and husband, Norman, and Sister Therese Rapanault with the Sisters of Providence in Holyoke; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Irene Morrison.

Born and raised in Southbridge, Mrs. Blair was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Renaud) Rapanault and a graduate of the Mary E. Wells High School in Southbridge.

A funeral mass was celebrated April 17 from St. Michael's Church in Hudson, with burial at St. George's Cemetery of Southbridge. The Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson directed arrangements.
