Bay State All Star Cheer and Dance competes in championship
Five teams from Bay State All Star Cheer and Dance participated in the U.S. Spirit National Championship Cheer and Dance Competition at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida April 4-6. All five teams placed first in their divisions to be awarded the honor of National Champions. The teams competed in the following categories: Youth level 2 Cheer, Junior level 3 Cheer, Junior Jazz Team, Youth Individual Stunt team and Senior Individual Stunt team. Bay State All Star Cheer and Dance, located at 11 McKeon Rd. in Worcester, is owned and operated by Karen Anastasi and Matthew Holdridge. Bay State All Stars off ers both competition and recreational cheer and dance programs for ages 4 to adult. Try-outs for the new season will be held on May 31 and June 1.
