Virginia A. Azablar, 73

Hudson - Virginia A. (Wilson) Azablar, 73, formerly of Lexington, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence in Wayland.

She is survived by her children, Julie Orsatti and her husband, Joseph; Emilie Carter and her husband, Greg; and Mark Dawson and his wife, Doreen. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Sommer; her grandchildren, Louis Orsatti, Thomas Orsatti, Benjamin Mazerall, Travis Mazerall, Lauren Mazerall, Theresa Mazerall, Jack Carter, Maggie Dawson and Patrick Dawson; and nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of Stuart Dawson.

Born in Urbana, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Laura (Talbert) Wilson, she resided in Lexington for 50 years before moving to Hudson in 2004.

Mrs. Azablar was a former secretary at the Diamond Middle School in Lexington for 25 years, retiring in 2003. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hudson.

A funeral service was held May 3 from the First United Methodist Church in Hudson, with burial in Forestvale Cemetery. The Tighe- Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson directed arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence, 266 Cochituate Rd., Wayland, MA 01778.
