Hudson - Hudson Catholic High School catcher Garrett Wellen tags out a Worcester North runner attempting to steal home during a game between the teams May 1 at Sauta Field in Hudson. The Green Wave won the game, 8-7, thanks in large part to Wellen, who not only cut down this Polar Bear trying to steal home but also singled twice and drove in a pair of runs.

Hudson Catholic, which trailed 6-0 after four innings, improved to 3-8 with the win. Spencer Raphaelson helped the winning cause with a pair of RBIs, and pitcher Nick Walsh struck out eight and allowed three earned runs in six innings of work.
