      Hudson - The town of Hudson's Community Preservation Committee is now accepting applications for funding under the Community Preservation Act and the guidelines stated in the Community Preservation Plan. All applications should be submitted no later than Thursday July 23 at 4 p.m. to the Planning Department.

      Hudson - Facing an exam and too many distractions, I took my notes and appetite to a restaurant I've always found pleasant, with plenty of good food: Checkerboards Restaurant and Bar. When I came in for a late lunch, I found the restaurant still busy, with guests regularly greeted by friendly smiles from the staff.
