'Road Scholars' race raises funds for schools

Boy Scouts to hold Bottle and Can Drive
      Shrewsbury - Shrewsbury Boy Scout Troop 114 will be holding a Bottle and Can Drive Saturday June 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Town Hall, 100 Maple Ave., Shrewsbury. The collection is limited to returnable bottles and cans. Proceeds will support troop programs.

Southgate at Shrewsbury to present 'The Mikado'
      Shrewsbury - Actresses (l to r) Lydian Devere, Audrey Yard and Angeliki Theoharis rehearse for the Mass Theatrica performance of "The Mikado" at Southgate at Shrewsbury's theater. The Gilbert and Sullivan operetta will be presented Saturday May 30 at 8 p.m. Southgate is located at 30 Julio Drive, Shrewsbury. A pre-show wine and cheese reception will start at 6:45 p.m.
