They'll still have a blast

Northborough - Despite a plea made to area businesses in mid-May for assistance in funding the fireworks at this year's Applefest celebration, fund-raising for that part of the annual fall festival fell short of the $20,000 necessary.

 

Despite that, the fall celebration will take place Friday Sept. 25 through Sunday Sept. 27, with a parade, a street fair, entertainment, food (including apple pie, of course), games and a road race. For more information, to volunteer or to make a donation, contact the Northborough Rotary Club.
