Shrewsbury wins Division 1 state golf title, Hudson third in Division 2

      Region - The Shrewsbury High School golf team captured its first-ever Division 1 Championship Nov. 2 at Turner Hill Country Club in Ipswich, placing three golfers among the top five finishers and four in the top 10. The Colonials, third-place finishers the last two seasons, finished with a four-man total of 318, one shot better than Needham.

Pasquale heads to National All-Star Game
     Shrewsbury – Shrewsbury resident Michelle Pasquale, a senior on the Assumption College field hockey team, has been selected by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association to play in the 2009 Division 2 North/South Senior All-Star Game, which will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday Nov. 21 at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C.
