Be a Santa to a Senior

Northborough - Decorating the tree for the annual “Be a Santa for a Senior” program are (left-to-right): Laurie Bender, owner of the Northborough office of Home Instead Senior Care; Kelly Burke, director of the Northborough Senior Center; and Joan Day, Northborough branch manager of Central One Federal Credit Union. Area residents are encouraged to visit Central One at 148 Main Street in Northborough and pick an ornament on which gift ideas are printed for seniors who otherwise would not be remembered with a holiday present. Gifts should be brought to the same location by Wednesday Dec. 9. The Senior Center hopes to distribute presents to about 50 seniors.
