Waste not want not?
     The time tested risk/reward debate is alive and well and currently residing in Shrewsbury. Residents and town officials are debating if the risk of a medical waste treatment facility is worth the reward of about 50 additional jobs and $64,000 annually in revenues. The Public Hearing that began on Nov. 20 was continued to 8:15 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3.

Correction
      In the Nov. 20 edition of the Community Advocate it was incorrectly reported that the increase in the tax rate in Westborough would raise taxes $1.48 per 1,000 square feet, and that the average single-family homeowner would pay nearly $400 per year in property taxes.
