Celebrating Christmas at the Farm

Marlborough - Julia Barnes, 8, looks over an entry in the Festival of Trees during Marlborough Historical Society’s Second Annual “Christmas at the Farm” held Nov. 28 and 29 at the Peter Rice Homestead. Businesses, organizations and community leaders sponsored more than 40 decorated trees displayed throughout the homestead which were presented to guests as prizes of a raffle. Adding to the old-fashioned holiday charm, the event included roaring fireplaces, handcrafted decorations, warm gingerbread with whipped cream, hot cider and hot chocolate.
