Avalon Northborough Bone Marrow Drive Avalon Northborough will be hosting a marrow donor registration drive with the Caitlin Raymond International Registry from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at 14 Avalon Dr., Northborough (1-508-393-0800). Walk with Green Marlborough Enjoy walking the trails of Marlborough in the company of a guided group the first Saturday of each month. The walk begins at 9 a.m. at the Desert, a 615-acre conservation land named for glacial sand deposits and a scrub pine forest. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water/snack. The walk is about 2 hours and 2 miles. Directions: from Route 20 in Marlborough, turn onto Concord Road by Firefly's Restaurant. Stay on this road 2.5 miles, passing the Marlborough Country Club golf course and Ghiloni Park on the right and then an old graveyard on the right you. Finally, there is a fork in the road and the parking area of the Desert is just before it on the right.
