Joan McAuliff e, 76

Hudson - Joan (Lindsey) McAuliff e, 76, also of Hyannisport, died Tuesday Jan. 26, 2010, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She leaves her husband of 52 years, Thomas McAuliff e.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Lindsey Gorchev and her husband, Plamen; Lisa Collins and her husband, Thomas; Tamara Martin and her husband, James; Suzanne McAuliffe and her wife, Anne Brady; and Thomas McAuliff e II and his wife, Megan. She also leaves her six grandchildren, Heather, Catherine and Christopher Martin, Tommy, Aidan and William McAuliff e; her sister, Phyllis VanWart; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dorothea Lindsey and Charles Lindsey Jr.

Born in Boston, daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Lavin) Lindsey, she resided in Hudson most of her life and was a 1951 graduate of Hudson High School, later graduating from the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. She was the Vice President of WMRC-First Class Radio in Milford.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 30 from Saint Michael’s Church of Hudson, with burial at Saint Michael’s Cemetery. The Tighe- Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson assisted with arrangements.
