Southborough – PFC Matt Deschamps of Southborough visits teachers and students at Trottier Middle School in early January while on leave from his tour in Iraq. He spoke with students about his experiences in Iraq, answered a few questions, and said hello to several former teachers. Many students sent cards and letters to him in December 2010, and he was able to thank many of them personally. Deschamps is stationed in Kirkuk, Iraq with the 1st Cavalry Division out of Fort Hood, Tex.
