Northborough – Donna M. (Gallo) Campbell, 59, died at home Tuesday March 15, 2011, after a brief illness.
She leaves her husband of 27 years, Daniel J. Campbell; her daughter, Megan and her husband, Drake Elliott, of Hudson; her son, Daniel J. Campbell Jr. of Northborough; her siblings, Marie Nickerson and husband Fred, Joseph Gallo and wife Doris, Virginia Campana and husband Tom, Joanne Atkinson and Paula LeDuc; many nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Born in Cambridge and raised in Marlborough, the daughter of Joseph and Angela (Reale) Gallo, she was a 1969 graduate of Marlborough High School and had lived in Northborough since 1984.
Mrs. Campbell worked at CLSI Inc. in Newton in the 1980s and as an office manager at Gymnastics Learning Center in Shrewsbury for the past 20 years until the time of her death.
She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Northborough and enjoyed reading, dancing, and spending time with her family. She spent her summers vacationing in Kennebunk, Maine.
A funeral Mass was held March 18 from St. Rose of Lima Church, with burial at Howard Street Cemetery. Hays Funeral Home of Northborough assisted with arrangements.
