Candlelight vigil in Shrewsbury held for tsunami victims

Shrewsbury – Attendants hold candles at a prayer vigil for the victims of the devastating tsunami that hit many coastal communities in Japan. The service, which was held April 11 at the India Center in Shrewsbury, featured an interfaith service with representatives from the Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist and Christian faiths. It was sponsored by the Japanese Association of Worcester, the Japanese Association of Greater Boston and the South East Coalition of Central Massachusetts.
