Hudson – Wilfred E. Lambert, 93, a lifelong resident of Hudson, died Monday May 30, 2011 at Marlborough Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Stella (Zielinski) Sarette-Lambert, who died in 2006, and the late Mary “Lena” (Tornifoglio) Lambert, who died in 1970.

Born in Marlborough, son of the late Alexander J. and Clarabelle (Vigeant) Lambert, he was a veteran of World Waw II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a traffic manager by the former Thomas Taylor and Sons of Hudson and later was employed by the former Arrow Automotive of Hudson until his retirement in 1980. He was a life member of the Hudson Elks and member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.

Mr. Lambert is survived by his children, Christine Fitzpatrick and her husband, Bob, of Northborough; Linda Ghiloni and her husband, Marty, of Hudson; and David Lambert and his wife, Diane, of Hudson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Marisa and Kevin Fitzpatrick, Nick Ghiloni, Alex and Emma Lambert, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Arthur Lambert and Jeanette Lambert-Soper.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday June 3, at 9 a.m., in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial services will be held at a later date. Calling hours will be held Thursday June 2, from 4-7 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc., 50 Central St., Hudson, MA 01749. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hudson Council on Aging, 29 Church St., Hudson, MA 01749.
