Northborough – Carolyn S. (Chase) Pavilionis, 69, died in her home Friday June 3, 2011 after a long illness. Her husband, Gerald S. Pavilionis, died in 1998; her son, Eric Pavilionis, in 1996; and her brother Frederich Fenner this past May.
She leaves behind her two daughters; Tina Lee and her husband, Stephen, of Northborough and Sandra Rheaume and her husband, Roger, of Leicester; her son, William Pavilionis and his wife, Lisa, of Oxford; her sister, Barbara Gustafson of Oxford; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Konde, Coda Capobianco, Karissa Lee, Tanner Pavilionis, Nicole Kerner, Katie Pavilionis, Alicia Pavilionis and Sara Pavilionis; and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Stoughton and raised in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Alton and Myrtle (McCarty).
Mrs. Pavilionis worked at Rocky's Ace Hardware for the last nine years. Prior to that, she was employed at Greenery Rehabilitation in Worcester. She enjoyed knitting and was a member of Sawyer's bowling league. She was also a member of Tower Hill Botanical Garden and the Northborough Senior Center. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved cats, Callie and Jojo.
Calling hours will be held Monday June 6, from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a service in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. Burial in Rural Cemetery in Worcester will be private.
